You can stand out in the rain when it falls

So I turn into a park of which I don’t know the name
with one parked SUV
I no two seconds later find the owner who is hunched over watching the playback on his buddy/videographer’s camera
There’s a series of pictures of his figure ascending a stone stepped hill in his bleached suit, his bleached pants, his bleached vest, his bleached tie
And one diamond earring
I make my way to back the house
As a projected voice asks if we’re ready to run

and I imagine my life at that age.
I guess I’d be 46
